While there is a contact, it's curved to the contour of the barrel so I felt really comfortable with it. From the reviews I saw, people were complaining of a metal on metal contact point with the barrel. I couldn't really find much information on this handguard but decided to give it a shot and was very pleased with the outcome. M952 mount had to be inverted to attach to right side of handguard ( lever on top) I definitely recommend as I bought the handguard first and then I bought the Benelli M4.Įasily attached to weapon and Surefire weapon light required a slight modification to attach to the handguard.
